Async load means bad order.
Once the load has been done, we have to reorder $scope pictures by path, users will probably have ordered pictures.

Instead of showing blue background color, could be useful to show a photoshop-like "transparent background".

When a single file is dropped, and is a folder, we should check it's content to search for images.

Picture reading could take some time. Adding a state machine to the app, and updating the view status can be an answer.
