In preferences-desktop-wallpaper, the dog-ear page fold is not allowed to be on the upper-left of the icon. See the guidelines at the dog-ear section for details.

This is way too embarrassing, I wish I could delete this.

The tweak icon seems broken, but just for the desktop. The icon otherwise appears correctly from the shell overview or from /usr/share/applications. I have checked the .desktop files in ~/Desktop, ~/.local/share/applications/, and /usr/share/applications, and they all are consistent. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I've noticed that out of all applications that I have currently installed, Thunderbird is the most popular one without an icon as a part of this pack.

Since it is probably the most popular email client for Linux-based operating system, I really think that a special icon needs to be added to this pack.

It will be good to add new icons for common usage tools such as thunderbird, guake, keepassx, libreoffice as a current does not look pretty good. In general very good complex theme, thank you!

I just decided to give this theme a try, but it created a little problem to the Elementary OS Freya Slingshot. Now the icons can hardly be seen.

After applying paper icons with paper theme, icons of Bluetooth and battery became a grey squares. With Elementary theme it happens only for Bluetooth icon.

Since the official binary is named sublimed_text some distris search for the icon with an underscore instead of a dash.

Is there any mapping file from which the symlinks are created, or do you just add them manually in each folder?

With Paper icon theme Software Center doesn't work. After typing "software-center" in terminal I get this:

Hello, I'm not a developer and I'm not great with Git, but I have saturated all the icons in Paper slightly to make them stand out more.

I felt like the unsaturated icons were too colourless and not bold enough, so I wrote a script to saturate all of them. To me, it's an improvement.

I'm not entirely sure how to do this, but I forked the repo and uploaded my changes. Here is a link: https://github.com/ajthemacboy/paper-icon-theme

If you like them, I think they'd make a nice second version of Paper.

IMHO, Empathy and Evolution's icons look very similar to Android icons and it just makes things confusing.

When a wired network connection is established, the icon in the top right corner has a question mark on it. Is it normal?

I think an icon for the atom editor would be nice in this theme!

I personally would be wholly satisfied with a symlink to the standard firefox icon.

For example, https://github.com/snwh/paper-icon-theme/blob/master/Paper/96x96/apps/cheese.png, the Cheese icon is just a purple rectangle. This seems like some bug in your building/rendering process. All of the icons have at least one size that works and some look good on all resolutions, but many don't.

elementary tweaks freya icons missing (Animations, Shadows, Slingshot and Cerbere)

Even though README says its cc-by-sa, the source svg files have this line

Hi, I think it will be nice to add sound and tablet icons, so GNOME control center will have a consistent look.

Firefox icon looks unfinished.

As you can see the icon is not perfectly circular, feels like the edges are wavy.

Is this supposed to be right or is it just unfinished??

Feel a bit greedy for requesting two icons at once, but it would be nice to have a Skype and a Pulseaudio icon! :)

DBeaver is a relational database management application. Its upstream icon is the head of a beaver.

If you change the size to be smaller, the icons being to look choppy. Here is how it looks when I change the size to 36 in the background settings. Especially Chrome and Settings.

Would it possible to get some guidelines on how to make icons for this icon set? A small tutorial would be appreciated.
These are some of tutorials, but I guess you have different specifications as to how the icon should look like and the format of the file.

There is no trash icon in PCManFM :

The icon for the trash-folder and the trash-button is missing

I love paper icons, but the show-applications icons or view grid symbolic icon looks unbalanced 3x4, the default 3x3 looks symmetric and consistent with paper icon themes.

Please consider using 3x3 view-grid icon which looks better with rest of the theme, than 3x4 which doesn't look good.

Icons unreadable in Google Chrome

The difference of color between on and off states of switch buttons are very low. I may be color blind :D but I can hardly distinguish between the two!

There are some major problems with the rendering of symbolic icons.
Here's Scratch for example:

The weird thing is, the icons look fine on GitHub or opened in a web browser, but not on the system.

Edit: There are much more broken icons.

In default Ubuntu, if you install the unity-tweak-tooland enable to show icons during the window spread (Super+ W), it seems like the paper icons are not scaled to fit in the lower right corner,

Also, some of the icons turn white after while for some reason:

I get a generic icon for google-chrome-unstable. Normal google-chrome works fine.

After applying the them I noticed that a few of the elementary apps and some other apps/settings areas are unreadable; they are white backgrounds with very light grey text making it extremely difficult to read, and nearly impossible for someone who is colorblind.

P.S. Is it supposed to enlarge everything like it does (i.e. screenshots, the size of app windows and the messages are all larger.
