Process for domain renewal about process HOT 2 OPEN

Trying to describe domain and server management :

• Server administration levels :

  • payer : direct payee, or reinbursement
  • account-manager : can be shared (shared password or multi owner) or not, delegated (depending on service availability)
  • system-operators : users with delegations through access keys to some functions (update certs) or server root access

• Server services :

  1. domain name : creation and renewal --> account manager --> delegated managed functions like automatic certificates renewal

  2. hosting : creation, renewal, services updates --> account manager --> delegated managed functions like server management (update content and data, backup, certificates ..)

  3. other services : like email server --> email account manager --> shared or private email account/password

I think this kind of information is important. It is imperative one knows who to contact in urgent matters (for example for domain expiration). Lets discuss it at the next meeting.
