I would like to know if you would be keen to transfer ownership of this plugin? I see it hasn't been updated in a while and I'd like to simply maintain compatibility of it with new PHP and WordPress versions.

I want to keep my own user ID, Is it possible?

When importing via CSV file it takes averagely more than 2 minutes to upload one user. So if list of 10 users would become 2o minutes. Is there any particular reason? I'm using a pmpro plugin also with these

A blank email address should not overwrite another blank email address when importing a CSV. Otherwise it is impossible to import more than one user in a single file without email addresses (which is actually allowed by the WordPress API).

The fix is pretty simple, replace this line...

if ( ! $user && isset( $userdata['user_email'] ) )

with this...

if ( ! $user && isset( $userdata['user_email'] ) && $userdata['user_email'] )

I get the following error when trying to install the plugin via composer using wpackagist-plugin/import-users-from-csv (which is listed in composer search results) – anything you can do?

The "http://wpackagist.org/p/wpackagist-plugin/import-users-from-csv$64cef4b5df99777368626d210b31baae98d828e21c9191417d6cfef4c391ec93.json" file could not be downloaded (HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found)  

Would be great if you made the page process differently, by ajax or whatever, because I am getting page timeouts on large files and have to split manually into smaller chunks. Otherwise, it's a great, simple, useful plugin.

When formatting .csv files in excel on a mac, the plugin doesn't work, but doesn't log an error. I finally figured out what the problem was, and solved by a manual treatment in vi in the terminal.

I did all your treatments and data formatting on the list, saved in excel and closed, then opened with vi in terminal and run the
following:

:%s/\r/\r/g

This will replace line break errors with proper line breaks.
