A candidate asked (on Twitter DM @srcgraph):
Hey Sourcegraph!
My name is $NAME, and I'm interested in your code intelligence position. I'm considering applying because I'm looking for remote opportunities outside $COUNTRY.
I was just wondering how experienced candidates are you looking for? I've finished my Master's thesis in August, and I've been working as a software engineer for 2 years now.
My reply:
Hey there, we don’t have any requirement on specific length of experience. We have team members who’ve joined straight from high school/university or after 10+ years of working at somewhere like Google, and all kinds can be successful here. Looking forward to seeing your application!
We should document this for people who read (eg) https://github.com/sourcegraph/careers/blob/master/job-descriptions/software-engineer-code-intelligence.md and wonder why it doesn't list a certain number of years.
Soon, all open source projects on GitLab.com will have code intelligence powered by Sourcegraph.com by default! This is a fantastic announcement and warrants its own blog post.
This could use a date or an edit to indicate to the learning-go go community that go package management is now all about go modules.

Potential customer wasn't aware that we had a managed instance offering.
Adding a page, linked to from the pricing page, as well as updating deployment docs to link to this page may help.
https://about.sourcegraph.com/product/browser Reported by a user to have old pricing ($5). There may be other instances.
I spotted a broken link to docs and fixed it in #482 -- but there is a bigger issue here: we don't have anything in place to catch broken links or links that lead to a 404 on our about.sourcegraph.com site. More of these could be lurking and we would not know.
You two are missing :)
We can either wait for the video, or just embed the slides and promote now.

This would use the GitHub Checks API to annotate problems (such as broken links) in Markdown contributions to the handbook.
This is intended to avoid problems like #365 (comment).
Following the README for local handbook dev (https://github.com/sourcegraph/about#handbook):
docsite serve -http=:5081
from the repo roottemplate error: walking templates: walk /search.html: parse template search.html: template: root:18: function "highlight" not defined
I'll look more into this if the issue isn't an obvious one.
Sourcegraph 3.3 improves our @bitbucket server integration with improved styling of the command palette, and code intelligence on the “diff to previous” and “branch comparison” views.

Revert back to sentence case for marketing pages on about.sourcegraph.com
Now that we are using Markdown files for the site, we need to run docsite check
.
A black bar appears on the right of the website if the window width is narrowed past some point. It basically looks like this on my phone (which is where I noticed it), the same issue happens on desktop when making the window smaller.
When the popular uBlock Origin ad-blocking Chrome extension is enabled, https://about.sourcegraph.com/case-studies/quantcast/ flashes the use case content but then shows:
Disabling uBlock Origin fixes this problem. It seems like the presence of quantcast
in the URL causes uBlock Origin to think that the page data is an ad (so it is blocked).
Suggested fix: rename the quantcast case study page to not include quantcast
in the URL, and set up redirects.

Our pricing page can be confusing. A user that viewed our pricing page had the following questions:
These questions should be answered by the pricing page.
The Grafana link under resources is incorrect and return a 502
error.
I noticed that it is the same on sgdev.org along with many of the other links on that page
Now that 2.12 is out, this page should be updated. Ideally, we should never hard-code version numbers into docs if we can avoid it https://about.sourcegraph.com/docs/extensions
Sourcegraph 3.2 is out! OSS/self-hosted code search/nav tool, now with:
ℹ️ Onboarding flow for site admins and users
🌐 Easier deployment to EC2 and DigitalOcean
🔒 Better SSL documentation
🔎 Integrations refactoring and code intelligence improvements

https://github.com/sourcegraph/sourcegraph/pull/6474 is pending on sourcegraph/sourcegraph. Its content will need to be moved to this repository when #300 is merged.
A replacement for the Intercom widget that makes it easy to jump to the most often viewed docs, contacting us, and submitting a support request.
Searching for strings contained in rendered content does not currently work.
For example:

However, smtp
exists here:

Promote on the home page or as a dismissable alert (like motd on Sourcegraph.com)
