Use case: the lockers rsi looks like this:

It would be really good if you had the ability of organizing it like this:

1. Open RSI Editor.
2. Try make it full screen.
3. Weep when you get mega black bars.

Yeah it would be nice to be able to use the full screenspace for editing, maybe even resizing icons to show their full names too?

When Edit crashes, the logger crashes too so can't see what makes it crash kek.

Can't create a simple RSI from scratch.

Steps to reproduce:

1. File -> New
2. (Sometimes new RSI dialog doesn't open) Goto 1
3. When dialog appears, clicks yes
   

Expect:

• New RSI tab to open

Got:

• Nothing happens

When importing a DMI file RSIEdit fails to import it fully

RSIEdit was built on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed using dotnet version 6.0.101 from microsofts' official production repository for OpenSUSE

1. open RSI
2. rename an icon state to the identical name but all caps
3. save
4. crash

For example the mirror_shield here is animated. It was showing in the previous version.

• Import a non 32x32 .dmi
• Copy a state
• Create a new RSI
• Paste the state
• New RSI remains 32x32 (the default) and crops the sprite instead

If empty, the size of the RSI should be changed as well when states are pasted into it.

Just like rsi.py and rsi-editor

Tried to put pngs into an existing RSI and it crashed
Tried to convert dmi together with pngs in the same rsi and it did the same thing

Adding a new state to a new or existing RSI doesn't save new state

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add new state e.g. xxxx

2. Add an png to it
   

3. Either save or save as

Expect:

• Saved new picture

Got, only original png.s

• Only old state are saved
  

Additionally meta.json isn't saved.

The file should be copy/pasted instead of loaded into memory and saved from there, leaving the image intact.

Compiling it is cool but downloading it is even cooler

Because I really don't want to look for it manually every time after saving

ATM it outputs them into the meta.json but ideally you'd be able to save the .rsi alongside an RGA file.

One usage of it remains in RsiItemViewModel.

select and inverse select for cherry picking what you want from a dmi

would be very good for changing states from even dmi's to a rsi or from rsi to rsi or from png to the rsi itself

its often in ss13 that various parts relating to an object (item sprites, inhands, clothing sprites) are atomized across multiple DMIs, so you end up having to import all of them, remove the necessary states (or export as PNG), then reimport as png which is annoying

it would be nice if this submenu had a way to just import a state by name from a DMI rather than having to do it roundabout

This prevents you from importing/exporting images for the single state that you actually have selected.

Ideally a draggable bar or some buttons to scroll frame by frame would be good too, and an option to show only the first frame instead in preferences.
