Designed to help you log the time spent on obsessive thoughts throughout the day. Helps with the treatment of OCD.
This app will let you log your time spent on thoughts,triggers and activity schedules in an Excel sheet, which can be shown to your doctor during your next visit.
- Python 3.9 (Included in the installation folder)
- Xlsxwriter library
- Microsoft Excel or any software that can open .xlsx files
How to install Xlsxwriter:
- Install Python 3.9
- Run Command Prompt/Powershell as an administrator.
- Type "pip install XlsxWriter" and hit enter.
- Xlsxwriter will be installed and the software will work fine.
- Download the latest release from the github repository.
- Download the following zip file and extract its contents.
- Open the file named Obsessive_log.py to launch the app.
- Once you launch the program, you'll be greeted by the main menu.
- Press 1 to start the core function of the program, that is entering your logs into an excel sheet.
- Once you press 1, the program will ask you to enter todays date in the form "dd-mm-yyyy.xlsx".
- Once you enter it, it will ask you for the date once again, this is for creating a sheet for your logs.
- Now it will ask for the amount of time spent on intrusive thoughts in 3 phases: 6am-12pm, 12pm-6pm, 6pm-12am and gives you the total time spent.
- The information that you typed in is entered into an excel sheet.
- If you open the excel sheet, you'll find something like this:
- The program will now ask you to enter details about your activity schedule
- After the activity schedule, it will ask you about the triggers
- The final excel sheet will look like this:
