ember-firmware's Issues

Problem about Development Image

I have downloaded the development image, the image file named "debian-8.2-smith-development-armhf-2016-10-14.img". But I check it's version with "lsb_release -a", it echos "Debian GNU/Linux 7.7". Moreover, I can't find the latest released version of the firmware and the toolchain to build it in the system. Maybe something is wrong.

Status?

I was just wondering the status of this project is.
Would you still recommend this as an alternative to NanoDLP?
Is it still possible to use this with Print Studio?

I got brand new Ember with factory FW 2.3.20151207.0

I've read at instructables that it's necessary first to upgrade to version 3.0 and only after to most recent one version. But all the links to Autodesk website regarding ember printer are not working anymore. I'd like to switch to pattern mode.
Could you help with the upgrade process?

Disk image error

Hi, I keep running to an issue with the latest disk image when I put it onto an SD card with either Apple-Pi Baker or Win32disk imager. Once the image is placed onto the SD card an error pops up on the screen saying "the disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" on a PC it just says that the card needs to be formatted. I press on following the instructions, placing the sd into the beagle bone black and it fails to see it in ssh. But when I remove the sd card, I am able to access ssh 192.168.7.2. Is there an issue with the disk image?

disk image is 2016-10-14

Build Ember

Hi, sorry for bothering, yet I was wondering how to build Ember FM from this source code please?

Did not find a route to main Makefile or .config file.

I saw client and server code, yet not network stacks, does it mean I need to download a linux kernel and compile them together ?
