iris-smart-fob's Issues

How to trigger events?

Hi there.

Thanks for making this available. I installed both files as device handlers and see all the buttons firing successfully in the Live Logs page of the IDE. I am also using the newer fob with the A,B, Home, Away buttons.

The problem is that I can't get a CoRE trigger to fire when I press any of the buttons. I'm also unsure if I am supposed to use 'changes to' or 'is' when selecting the push or held options. Also, when selecting from the button list in CoRE, the first one is 'Iris Smart Fob' with a big blue circle to its left (is that a presence sensor?)

I'm basically asking, how do you use this? Did you have to install a special smartApp or do you use the built-in Button Controller? I tried the built-in one it also doesn't work for me. It had an option for lights but doesn't say what it does to them (turn on, off or toggle?) I also tried Advanced Button Controller smartApp but that didn't seem to work either.

I also occasionally get this error in Live Logs (under Iron Smart Fob button X):

error java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method toBoolean() on null object @line 22 (buttonUp)
