I have my site showing only specific category (news) on home page. I need posts to expire by getting removed from that category so they don’t show on home page anymore, but are still visible in other categories on the site. Is it possible to add a feature “remove category” (example: news) and “add category” (example: archive) after expiration?

I was using the plugin Content Scheduler which had such functionality but unfortunately its not maintained anymore.. https://wordpress.org/plugins/content-scheduler/

Not sure if this is place for these sorts of comments/problems, so forgive me if its not.

I can see expired posts fine using the filter tab at the top of the posts page, but I can't do the same with expired pages. There is no filter tab above the list of pages, and (in a possibly crude attempt to work around it) if I change the URL from /wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=expired&post_type=post to /wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=expired&post_type=page it doesn't return any results, but I am definitely expecting it to.

Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

Support custom post types. Right now, only posts and pages are supported.

Support timezones properly.
