Assumptions and steps to data setup

  1. Considered age and id as integers. Records will be skipped if age and id or not itegers.
  2. Sorting using id only
  3. In FileProcessor.java file, inputFilePath,tempDirecotry and outputFilePath values/path should be changed to your local drive or any hard drive path.
  4. Each temp file will contain 100 lines only. To increase, change the value of maxLinesPerTempFile in FileProcessor.java.
  5. This is a pure java standalone app.

Instructions to Run:

Steps to run the application from IDE:

  1. Clone the GIT Repository
  2. Import project into any IDE like Intellij
  3. Go to FileProcessorTest File -> Right Click -> Run
