srsran_project_docs's Issues

phy-low with split-7.2 and split-8

Hi, I'm learning split-7.2 and split-8 and found this parts in the doc confusing.

In srsRAN_Project_docs/docs/source/knowledge_base/source/gnb_components/source/index.rst, the low phy locates in the DU for split-8 in the Figure. But the doc explain it as "If split 7.2x is being used then the low-PHY will be located in the DU-low (supposed to be RU?), if split 8 is being used it will be located in the RU(supposed to be DU?)." According to srsRAN_Project_docs/docs/source/knowledge_base/source/oran_gnb/source/index.rst. Under Fig.15, "Split 7.2 moves to low PHY out to the RU , while Split 8 keeps it within the DU-low."

I'm new to this. So please correct me if I'm wrong.

Configuration reference misspelling

amf:
bind_adddr: (bind_addr)
cell_cfg:
pucch:
p0_nomial: (p0_nominal)
f1_nof_cells_res_sr: (f1_nof_cell_res_sr)
f2_nof_cells_res_csi: (f2_nof_cell_res_csi)

(Hello, I'm quite new to this but I found this project while working on my thesis. In importing the full config reference and commenting out the unnecessary options I found a few misspellings. Albeit pedantic, changing them might help future adopters)

Currently, I have it running, and the "corrections" in parenthesis come from the gnb_appconfig files so I assume they are correctly being taken as configurations while running.

Looking forward to seeing what is being cooked up for the future

USRP clock source

Hello,

I'm using the USRP x310 for my project, and the UE can see the network but unable to attach. I am wondoring how did you do gor the USRP clock source, (Can you provide me with the architecture and wiring between the USRP and the GPS reference Clock)

Tahnk you!
