Just a trivial point:

in README.md, "...(see this pull for more details)..."

Don't know if the pull was closed / reopened, but think #2113 is the correct (?) one which was merged. The important note there is to turn on a theme w/ "USE_CUSTOM_THEME".

In any case, 1907 is about simple white space in an unrelated area.

@jbau - noticed this, didn't know where to stick it, so put here.

to put another way, in _stanford.scss, $homepage-bg-image is not effective any longer.

How to override the default sass,suach as "base/font_face"?
it doesn't seem to work by replacing the _font_face.scss file ( creating the same structure in the theme folder, in a similar manner to the django templates)
