the storyboard merge put it at an absolute location, so it gets messed up on 3.5" screens.

it started out as blocks, ended up as jsvalue. I just can't be bothered with renaming it right now.

Since this will be open source and demoed at a conference, we should document the process of getting it all working and how it's organized.

they look normal on the preview but not on my device.

We don't need to go crazy, just the basics.

5 * + * 4 is not a valid calculator string.

I was trying to fix this but ios is caching calc.js and I can't make it stop. maybe tomorrow.

it can be done on ios, apparently, but what about android?

the default method of connecting buttons in android is to specify the method name in the layout file (it always calls the activity) but there's a code way of connecting them too...

it shouldn't really have spaces around it.

once this is working it'd also be useful for testing the performance of the alternate rhino jar.

ios lets them walk off the edge, android wraps until it walks over the buttons below. neither is pretty.

pros:
-we could define the JS-accessible code in a single place in the file.

cons:
-it won't scale well
-we'd have to write a function body instead of just a header
-global functions can't be done from java, so we'd have to write a JS wrapper for android to call the original object-oriented API.

it keeps sticking to the 4" box no matter what constraints I set.

just to clean things up a bit

sort of a subset of #7. but it might also be useful to test on android?

Should be good for exercising the JS.
