I just enrolled in the RedHat open shift 4 foundations course and when reaching the Application Deployment Lab I encountered an Issue with this Project.

I get the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: parse_str() expects exactly 2 arguments, 1 given in /opt/app-root/src/item.php:44 Stack trace: #0 /opt/app-root/src/item.php(44): parse_str('') #1 {main} thrown in /opt/app-root/src/item.php on line 44

Looking at the code in this Repo i found that there is acutally just one parameter present in the parse_str function. Though the PHP Documentation says the following: Using this function without the result parameter is highly DISCOURAGED and DEPRECATED as of PHP 7.2. As of PHP 8.0.0, the result parameter is mandatory.

I just want to mention that i never ever wrote a single line of php code. So please be gentle with me if i've made a mistake myself.
