I don't understand why you can't parse the .list files - the test suite scripts can. Something simple like

awk '/^[a-z]/ { print $1; }' regress-vlg.list regress-sv.list

should give you the names of all tests for standard Verilog and SystemVerilog. Some tests with Icarus extensions may have crept in - it's some years since I validated the test suite.

The extensions are documented in the iverilog README.txt and extensions.txt files. The comments in the test suite regress-ivl1.list and regress-ivl2.list files tell you what particular Icarus-specific feature those tests use.

OK, it seems that I actually did not read the content of regress-ivl*.list and I did not know that they contain only the files with the extensions.
