Thanks for making a great custom view tool. However, I have not yet got it to work. I have gone through the videos over and over but there must be some basic thing I miss.
Working on a PC, and have done same on another PC and even on a Mac with same result.
I have downloaded the file you have attached and put them in folder stages.
When i try to open stageview adress in browser it is blank. If I delete "LowerThird" and remain with the adress to stageview, I get the normal stage view wich is working. Can you think of any possible problems that I should check?

@the Harvest is Ready Yeah, I see your point. You have to make sure the chord data stays where it should. That makes perfect sense.

[Just out of curiosity, have you tried looking at the newStage view on an Android phone or tablet? Does it display the way you would expect it to? I ask because it seems like a lot of space between Transpose div and currentslide div. Probably because of the padding-top:122px in the css file? I wonder if that could be a percentage of the vertical screen dimension instead of a hard coded value? (I did web application development 20 years ago but have forgotten much of what I ever knew about css.)]

I like the features of the standard Stage view that you left in the newStage view. The slide #/verse #, the clock, the Notes, etc. But then you made newStage much better than the standard Stage view with the ability to change the font size on the fly. In my opinion, that feature should be built-in to the standard Stage View.

So, maybe you could rename newStage to ChordView and then make a better version of the standard Stage view. Something that takes advantage of the Fonts folder like the other custom Stage views. Maybe call it StagePlus? ;)

I can think of a few other features to consider for StagePlus :

1. When advancing to the next slide, highlight nextslide (just as currentslide was highlighted) and scroll nextslide up so readers/singers don't lose their place.
2. Identify which fonts are in the Fonts folder and allow on-the-fly font selection from a dropdown menu
3. Allow the clock to be resized/repositioned and choose color/font. Bottom center seems like a good location but who knows?
4. Maybe make Notes appear in a different place like the bottom of the screen. Where they are now seems to be a floating region that can have a negative impact on the currentslide div.

I have been watching your youtube videos and using these custom stage views with OpenLP. Those have been a huge help for me in the church I work. I got a few questions I would really appreciate getting an answer to. I heard in one of your YouTube videos that this could be a place to post questions considering these custom stage views.

I am working with a pretty unique situation in our church: I have been trying to create a system around OpenLP that the worship leader can change the lyric lower thirds to live stream and to a projector by themselves. That's because we have just a one-person tech team. Here are my questions:

1. When I was using the "stage/lowerthird" custom stage view in OBS and showing a photo in OpenLP, that photo appeared to the live stream as a thumbnail with its filename to the place of the lowerthird text. Is it possible to only show lyrics in that lower thirds stage view and show only bible verses on different custom stage views? I also looked at the youtube video about controlling OBS in OpenLP but that way changing the scene seems to have some delay, so you can see that other stuff for a few frames before scene switches. To me, it looks a little distracting.

2. Can I show the notes in the "stage/newStage" as in the default OpenLP stage view?

3. Is it possible to make a custom stage view that would show all the lyrics of a song whatever verse is selected and highlight the current verse?

4. Is it possible to customize the OpenLP browser remote, for example, to make buttons bigger?

5. Can I call a specific service item from the list (and maybe a specific slide on that service item) using OSC/Midi/HTTP/shortcut or any other way? The browser remote can send that kind of control message to OpenLP so I wonder how it does that so I may be able to do that via the lan to integrate OpenLP into an OSC automation system and control interface called TouchOSC.
