This app makes it easy to make long playlists that mix podcasts and music without having to dig through your library. It's intended to help you prep for road trips, long shifts, and any situation where you want control over your playlist and you need it to be long.

Longify uses:

• React (via create-react-app) to build
• Vanilla fetch to access the Spotify API
• Material UI for styling of buttons and sliders

To build your playlist, log in to Spotify through Longify, then configure your options and click 'get playlist.' This will generate a preview, which you can choose to add to your library or scrap before generating a new preview.

To make suggestions, create issues in Github with a descriptive title. For example, use bug for a bug and feature for a new feature request.

To contribute, open an access request issue to be added to the developer list. If granted access, you will receive information for how to test locally. Typically, this means fork and clone from the dev branch, then work and test locally following git best practices. After testing locally, merge your new branch back to dev and make a pull request to the dev branch in the main repo.
