I tried your reproduction, it seems like one of the actions that gets automatically matched is causing issues
if you change your ondevice/preview.tsx file and update the ´actions´ regex to be something like actions: { argTypesRegex: "^on(Change|Press|Click).*" }, then it stops erroring

@dannyhw Thanks! That worked and fixed the issue. Where can I find documentation of the preview.tsx? I'd like to understand how it functions better so that I can make sure it tweaking it to the above doesn't lose expected functionality.
