I have both 64bit (SE and VLC) and both is "unzipped" (not installed) as portable.

You can also use FFMPEG for audio decoding (new option, see Options -> Settings -> Waveform/spectrogram).

WIth latest version (SE3315.Net4.zip) and latest x64 vlc (2.1.3, not portable) i have the same issue. Even with the path set "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC" the option is grayed.
