External template encryption

We have a number of finger templates stored on a SFM Slim and now want to enable encryption. But it is not possible to enable encryption while templates are stored on the device.

We would like to

download the not encrypted templates
set an ecryption key on the device + turn encryption on
AES encrypt the templates
upload the encrypted templates

However, we don't know to encrypt the templates.

Can this be done? Which AES algorithm is used by SFM Slim to encrypt the templates?

hello guys, i'm write an application with electron to comunicate with a gym ratchet that use that libs, so as we know, electron uses nodejs to comunicate with hardware. Has some native lib to use with node that i can use UF_initSocket to comunicate with these hardware or can i use sockets to connect directly in ?
