Run without options to load saved settings.

Run with option "--savedev" to save current settings of all enabled DirectShow video input devices.

Run with option "--help" to get brief help info.

  • Run: Windows 7 or late; any available DirectShow video input device with adjustable Video Proc Amp or Camera Control.

Conclusion

Some stuff just exist.

cfg-cam's Issues

Instruction for amateurs

Hey! I don’t understand how to use it, I downloaded this and what next? I have C920 and use OBS, but what should I do with these files?

Add an argument

Hi, is there a way that you can add another argument to the .exe?
An argument that load the configurations.

I'm trying to call your .exe by C# but for some reason when I run it without arguments it does not run correctly.

issue with BacklightCompensation

Hey,
First of all thanks for this amazing tool, It saves me a lot of time.
My issue is that the LowLight Compensation check box won't save, but I found a workaround for it.

(It's not an issue anymore :) )

Regards,

CameraControl is missing Low Light Compensation

For the Logitech C920 webcam, there is a setting called Low Light Compensation which always defaults to true when I reboot my computer. This program does not seem to save the low light compensation setting, nor does it seem capable of altering it.

Focus is not working

For me, this app works for everything, except for focus. It does change to manual, but the value is not actually setted. I don't know if its something with the webcam or the app.

Feature Request: Add Setting for Frequency (Anti Flicker)

Hi SuslikV,
your script is the ONLY useful tool I have found online to fix the terrible Logitech webcam settings. So thanks for the great dev work!

The only missing setting appears to be the Frequency Setting. My setting reverts to 60Hz on shutdown or restart. However, this setting is not included in your script (50Hz or 60Hz).

Is there any way you can add it into the script so it is captured, saved and reapplied?

Cheers.
