A simple plugin for multiple databases in rails app.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'banana'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install banana
- add multiple database settings to
config/database.yml - add connection setting to model
- add database name to migration
- as always run
rake db:create,rake db:migrate,rake db:drop
