The SymbiFlow organization as a number of forked repositories. These should all be configured to have a similar set of settings.

These include;

• Disabling the Wiki and other similar functionality.
• Making sure nobody has push access to the branches coming from upstream.

There should be a workflow which checks (and potentially sets up) common GitHub actions for all repositories.

All Repositories

• Should have the https://github.com/SymbiFlow/actions/tree/main/checks action enabled.
• Should have dependabot configured if they have submodules.

Python Repositories

• Should have readthedocs enable and be publishing documentation
• Should have the Python install check action enabled
• Should be publishing to PyPI.
• Should have style / linting checks enabled.

Create an organizational level GitHub Action workflow which checks and updates settings on repositories in the SymbiFlow organization.

If it can't update the settings, it should log a github issue with the problem. Once the issue has been created, it should be poked every week. Once the setting is fixed, the issue can be closed.

All Repositories

• Should have a repository description
• Should have repository tags. The tags should include the symbiflow tag.
• Should have a repository URL.
• Should have a "Social preview" image

DB Related Repositories

• Should have all features like Issues, Projects, Wiki, etc disabled.

Create an organizational level GitHub Action workflow which checks and updates permissions on repositories in the SymbiFlow organization.

Current permissions should be;

• All non-forked repos have the @SymbiFlow/admin team with the admin access level
• All non-forked repos have the @SymbiFlow/triage team with the triage access level
• Anyone in the SymbiFlow organization is in the @SymbiFlow/triage team.

DB Related Repositories

Matches *-db*

• @SymbiFlow/db-admins should have admin access level

Xilinx Related Repositories (except DB repositories)

Matches *xilinx*, *prjxray*, *prjuray*, *zynq*, *xc*

• @SymbiFlow/xc-team should have maintain access level

System Verilog Related Repositories

Matches *sv*

• @SymbiFlow/sv-team should have maintain access level

Documentation Related Repositories

Matches *-*doc*, *sphinx*,

• @SymbiFlow/doc-team should have maintain access level

Python Related Repositories

Matches *-py*
