winui-demos's Introduction

Syncfusion WinUI Desktop Controls Demos

This repository contains the demos of Syncfusion WinUI controls. This is the best place to check our controls to get more insight about the usage of APIs. You can also check our controls by installing our Syncfusion WinUI Demos App, in which you can browse the demos for all the controls.

This section guides you to use the Syncfusion WinUI demos in your applications.

Requirements to run the demo

  • Ensure that your development computer has Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803 - build 17134) or newer installed.
  • Requires Visual Studio 2019 (with update 16.7.2 or later) or Visual Studio 2019 Preview.

How to run the demos

  • Clone or download this repository.
  • Open syncfusion.samplebrowser.winui_net50.sln file present under samplebrowser folder in Visual Studio.
  • Restore nugets for all the demo projects.
  • Set syncfusion.samplebrowser.winui_net50 (Package).wapproj as start up project and run.

Notes: While downloading the zip file, follow below steps

  • Before you unzip the archive, right-click it, select Properties, and then select Unblock.
  • Be sure to unzip the entire archive, and not just individual demos. The demos all depend on the common folder in the archive.
  • If you unzip individual demos, they will not build due to references to other portions of the ZIP file that were not unzipped. You must unzip the entire archive if you intend to build the samples.

build warnings because of WindowsBase versions conflicts

i've got a lot of warnings building Syncfusion.SampleBrowser.WinUI_Net60 (Package), Configuration : Debug x64 with Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2022 (64 bits) - Current
Version 17.4.4
these warnings might bring problems on runtime (and they actually do on our solution with the lastest version of the package) a lot of exceptions)
