When i3wm is locked for an extended period of time (not sure how long exactly yet, but it has to be more than a few minutes) by i3lock, mpdstatus loses it's connection and doesn't regain it by itself. The only fix is to reload i3wm.

Since updating to 0.2.1 the taskstatus module won't load anymore. When i call py3status -s -c .i3/status.conf --debug "user method taskstatus failed (Type str doesn't support the buffer API)" gets written to syslog.

This happens with both py3status 1.6 and 2.0.

The error seems to occur in Data.get_tasks() in Line 61. A crude str(e.output) fixes the issue for me, but doesn't explain why I am having this problem and others (i.e. the author) do not. Unless of course you only tested it while having overdue tasks...

Currently I'm using a py3status module to display the title of any Chromium tab that is playing audio (usually SoundCloud or YouTube). When I'm listening to something there, I usually pause mpd, but the mpdstatus line is always present.

So, I end up with a bar containing both, the title of the song that is currently being played in Chromium and the title of the song paused in mpd.

It'd be nice to have an option to hide mpdstatus when mpd is paused, since I'm not interested in the name of a song that isn't being played, and I don't really use the mouse actions.

Support for the mbox mailbox format should be implemented.
