Hi.

I've been back to RelayMyHome today after several months. Always worked perfectly on Yosemite. I've downloaded the latest update to use it on El Capitan.

I launch the script as usual, only it doesn't actually cycle between addresses. This is the line I get:

Spoofing en0 to 4E:53:50:4F:4F:00 for 90 seconds

over and over again. It never changes MAC. Tried with quick and full mode. The first time I launched it I got my Streetpasses all right, so the script is working as intended... except it always relays me to the same MAC address.

Any solution to this? Thanks.

I receive this error when each MAC is spoofed with the script: ** Error: The amount of parameters was not correct.

I am not getting any streetpass hits, I can confirm that it usually works for me if I spoof one MAC by changing it in terminal with: ifconfig en1 ether (MAC)

I have ran this script an had this error each time, never received streetpass either.
I checked with ifconfig and the MAC addresses never changed while the script ran

Any help? I would love to get this working

Macbook Pro late 2011, OSX 10.10.2 (Beta)

This error is displayed after the script runs:

"ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): permission denied"

I'm in the UK, using the script as is on a Mac Mini running Mountain Lion (Yet to update it to Mavericks as it is a Mac Server and Mac Server on Mavericks hasn't been too great on our other machine), I've yet to get any hits and have used the script several times. Do I need different MACs for it to work in my country? If so, where would I find these MACs?

I can connect to the internet through this and use Nintendo Zone, but no hits, I've even tried adding some PRIME MACs from a Google Doc spreadsheet.

Can someone help me with this?

I am no longer able to get Streetpass-hits ever since the 11.1-update.
Is there something that can be done about that?

Using a MacPro, OS 10.10
I have followed all the steps but I don't get any hits, any ideas? or does 10.10 break the script somehow?

Is there any way to use this without having it? Tried bluetooth with wifi checked and it didn't work.

Hi.

This is not a bug, just an idea. Is there any way to send my streetpass to the relaymyhome and have people collecting that streetpass at another location?
For example, can I add my mac-address to an API and then everytime I use the relaymyhome I'll just cycle throw all (or maybe just a few) of the mac address and collect streetpasses from those mac addresses?

Does it make sense? Does anyone know if it's possible?

I tried using the script with a Bluetooth PAN connection via my phone (selecting Bluetooth PAN as Internet source in the sharing options).

Doesn't seem to be working though, which is reasonable since it's written in the documentation that it has to be through a wired connection.

But would it be possible to mod the script a bit to make it work this way? Just make it use another connection to reach out to the Internet.

Question: is there a way to setup a hidden wifi as a sharing point?
Opening my network to anyone kind of bothers me.
Or is there any way to secure at least a bit the wireless network?

After ./relaymyhome full I get an error:

i can only use relaymyhome every 8 hours, even when it switches mac addressess. do you know what i should do?

Since there's no ethernet port on new MacBooks, there's no Ethernet sharing option:

Ok so i tried this and when i type the command ./relaymyhomefull, the terminal replies: ''-bash: ./relaymyhome: is a directory''. Is there a problem with that or i can proceed normally? Thanks in advance!

its running, but I'm not getting any hits

I had used this software about 9 months ago and, at the time, was able to run multiple executions of it to get a full board of street passes (back to back).

New laptop, setting it up, and I went to run this and it only works once. Hours delay. Then it works again. Can someone confirm for me that Nintendo has done something to put in place an 8 hour (I think I read that somewhere) delay between executions?

I have configured relaymyhome following GBATemp steps - using Ethernet and WiFi to create Nintendo Zone named NZ@McD1. I ran the relaymyhome script from terminal, connected 3DSXL to the hotspot, Nintendo Zone icon appeared on 3DSXL, got a little prompts saying that Nintendo Zone service is available. Upon opening it I even managed to get Pokemon ORAS screen with information that the content is not translated to my language, so it appears that there is a connection.
The problem is that I don't recieve any StreetPass hits, even though i rebooted computer several times, restarted both the 3DSXL and the connection many times, tried changing MAC address to 4e:53:50:4f:4f:43 before even running the script, checked with grep command if it really changed - it did, but still nothing. Upon opening Web Browser on 3DSXL I get error 003-3305 and cannot browse the Web. I crave for help, as I tried everything that I found possible and nothing helped.
I would appreciate all given help.

3DSXL is running software Ver. 9.4.0-21E
