What steps will reproduce the problem?

I would like to see the application open instead I see the error message "The 
application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found"

I am using Openshapefactory pre alpha v000.008.  I am using Win XP SP2

The program should run the script, but it just crash.

when trying to copy paste using ctrl+c ctrl+v the widget does nothing.

there needs to be a signal slot connection between the widgets.
it may be the graphicview key event wrapping.

1. Writing a code.
2. Turn off the program.
3. Turn on the program.

It should save the last version of code in the Code Editor, however, additional 
code is copied on the editor.

when added to the QGraphicsView
the resolution of the QWcintilla Code editor, looks really poor.

i have sent an email to the QScintilla Mailling list, awaiting a response,
meanwhile im investigating how to increase the dot per inch of the widget.

need to learn more about how the widget draws, and then how the QGraphicsProxy 
interprets the image returned by the widget.

can you make the image larger than needed, and then scaleit down to fit the 
rectangle where its needed.

can the widget be drawn to Qimage instead?

1. create a variable with the getval 
2. set an initial maximum upper limit in the slider
3. change the initial maximum upper limit in the getval command

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the maximum value should match in the slider and in the edit value label
