CityPop is a mobile application where you can look up the population of different cities. You could either search for a city or a country and then choose a city of the requested country.

The application was built with React Native, TypeScript, Expo and uses GeoNames as API.

To experience the application on your own mobile device download Expo Go on your device and create an account.

1. Clone the project.
2. Navigate to the project cd CityPop
3. Writenpm install to get all necessary packages.
4. Write npm start to initiate the application.
5. Expo will now open developer tools in your browser
6. Choose connection type "Tunnel"
7. Scan the qr-code with your mobile device and open the expo link which will take you to the application
