Just adding a request so that eventually this can make it back into F-Droid :)

Guardian Project's Lil Debi app seems to be building a few of the assets we're using here, so could probably steal from there.

This allows visitors to easily evaluate your software and track via GitHub when new iterations are released.

I have a Nexus 7 (2013) with stock 4.4 kernel and when installing Ubuntu Touch with the MultiRom manager I get the error "Failed to initialize ROM folder!".

Actually, the MultiROM loader does not support ROM names with whitespaces.
The app actually does not warn of it; I got two ROMs bugged, until I found it in the ROM loader.
You could add just a check for whitespaces in the new ROM name.

The Manage ROMs screen is correctly displaying my ROMs, but the Install/Update screen is seemingly displaying [at least some] of the correct information. Mine is as follows:

MultiROM: v32a
Recovery: 2015-06-30
Kernel: has kexec-hardboot patch

At the bottom of the panel though, it says: Failed to download info about updates

Is this to be expected? Is there something (hopefully temporary) wrong with whatever server is serving the update information? If it helps, it seems to actually take a small bit of time when attempting to retrieve the update info. (Seems long enough that it's recieving something, and short enough that it's not just timing out)

A1001 is China Unicom version of Oneplue One, and have exactly the same hardware (except that model number), and any ROMs for A0001 works on A1001 too. However in MultiROM Manager this model is shown as unsupported. Would you please add support for A1001? Thanks.

I have been investigating this issue for a few days now, but I still haven't found a solution:

When a ROM-name contains (or even contained) spaces, MultiROMMgr won't find the icon-data associated with this particular ROM.

method loadRomIconData in https://github.com/Tasssadar/MultiROMMgr/blob/master/MultiROMMgr/src/main/java/com/tassadar/multirommgr/MultiROM.java#L133 fails to execute the needed shell-code. I have tried and tried to get this command to run, when using spaces, but it just won't work.

I've now opened this issue, so we can try to solve this problem together.

for quite some time installing Ubuntu Touch fails on Nexus 7 deb. I haven't been running Android on the device for about a year now so I can't really tell how long this is broken, though I've tried an older Android Lollipop and this didn't help, CyanogenMod makes no difference.
Could you please look into that. I am not sure if my attempts to contact you have failed because I am too tiresome or I just haven't been lucky - but at least this is finally an official way to spread the word.

Steps I followed:
. installed the app, opened it and realized this device was unrooted.

.root device, opened app again and it keeps opening/updating in infinite loop.

. uninstalled the app after erasing cache and app data, installed again. Same issue.

Tested on nexus 5 stock ROM and build. Kitkat 4.4.2 build KOTH49H

Multirom manager just crash when I try to install it.

I don't have much information about this crash.

I use ParanoidAndroid (last version), I don't install GApps on my phone.

I used your wonderful app on my Nexus 5 Android L preview. Everything was working fine, multibooting into Ubuntu Touch and Kali Nethunter. Though I had twice the problem of the app saying that the "revovery is not installed ...". I couldn't figure out how to fix it: inject cur. boot img, re-flash Multirom TWRP, fix permissions and so on didn't fix it.

Un-installing the app and re-installing it nailed it. So there is probably something wrong with the data the app stores. If it occurs again, I'll let you know if clearing the app cache or deleting the app's data fixes it.

Currently there is no support to install Android 5.0.1 (LRX22C) which was recently released. Could the app please be updated with support for this incremental release?

I have installed MultiROM v32c trampoline v26
And install and remove ubuntu.
After I try install only kernel: Android L Preview (set only this checkbox)
I have 5.1.1 before

And now after loading system I can only unlock screen and... it rebooted and again...

Can you help me resolve this trouble?

Naturally, you shouldn't be able to flash the currently-running ROM, but flashing the others, even from inside android, should be possible.

Making Ubuntu Touch image source selectable in settings will allow installing Plasma Mobile with the official MultiROMManager app

There are no listed wily or 16.04 images listed in the Android multirom app.

I have successfully dual booted Android 4.4.4 and Android L using Multirom However when I am trying to flash super su 2.1 which supports Andorid L, via TWRP, it does not give me a choice as to which Android version it will flash the zip.
How can I make sure Android L can be rooted from TWRP?

Could you please help me to install google factory image (Android 6.0 Marshmallow) for my nexus 7 as a secondary ROM, I've already installed CM 12.1 as a primary ROM, tried to flash as Zip or sideload command but can't install !! any tips please? Thanks

The KDE guys just released plasma phone[1]. Looking through their repos it seems like the release structure is the same as the one used by ubuntu[2]. Could you please add another card to install plasma phone through multirommgr? Thanks!

MultiROM Manager has an easy installation method for Ubuntu Touch, and as Firefox OS is slowly becoming available on new devices for testing/development, it'd be useful for MultiROM Manager to be able to install it. I have Firefox OS running successfully under MultiROM on my Nexus 5, so it should work with MultiROM on any device that currently supports Firefox OS.
