An employee management system for the command line. This project uses inquirer to retrieve input from the command line and mysql2 and console.table to store data and display query responses to the command line. Using the interface you are able to view departments, roles and employees, add departments, roles and employees and update an employee role.

npm i to install the application. A MySQL server should be running and password should be set in a .env file with DB_PASSWORD='password'. Use db.sql, schema.sql and seeds.sql to set up the database.

run node server.js and follow the prompts
