e-jet-family-yv's Issues

Properly implement autoland arm & engage logic

CAT-I:

  • BARO minimums selected on active-side PFD
  • CAT-I approach in PERFORMANCE > LANDING selected
  • Active side nav source set to VOR/LOC, or preview enabled on active side
  • Flaps 5 or FULL

CAT-II:

  • Same minimums set on both PFDs

  • RA minimums selected

  • CAT-II approach in PERFORMANCE > LANDING selected

  • Nav source set to VOR/LOC, or preview enabled, on BOTH sides

  • Flaps 5

  • Autoland mode arms when APP mode armed and conditions met.

  • Autoland engages at 1500 ft AGL. If the only condition not met for CAT-II approach is flaps, APPR 2 still engages.

  • At 800 ft AGL, if APPR 2 is engaged and any condition (including flaps) is not met, APPR 2 disengages, and APPR 1 engages instead.

See AOM pages 1464ff.

Implement NAV SRC.

  • Glareshield Panel SRC button switches between captain-side and FO-side
  • Button to side of GSP selects VOR, ADF or FMS as nav source on each side
  • Preview button toggles preview (VOR/ILS when FMS is active, FMS when navaid is active)

help.

idk if i'm writing in the right place, But when ever i try to spawn in one of the E-Jet aircraft it freezes in loading and then flight gear closes.

Make TO an FD-only mode

AP logic:

  • On the ground, pressing AP should arm AP in TO mode
  • When armed, AP should engage when switching from TO to some other mode

AT logic:

  • In TO mode, AT does not control throttle
  • AT engages when switching to SPDe

Alternate flight plan

Store an alternate flight plan alongside the main one (both active and modified).

Use alternate flight plan for DIRECT to alternate.

Stick shaker, green dot, yellow & red bars

Calculate the following speeds:

  • "Green dot speed": stick shaker speed at 40° bank plus 1.3g margin.
  • Yellow bar: stick shaker speed (current attitude).
  • Red bar: stall speed (current attitude).

Display on PFD.

Implement stick shaker sound.

Livery Contributions

Hello Mr.Dammers,

I have been interested in this aircraft for a long time, and I want to make some liveries for this aircraft in 4K resolution. If I made these liveries, how would I be able to contribute these liveries to this repository?

Also, I was wondering if the LR variant is on the schedule anytime soon. I think the main difference is that the LR has larger, flatter winglets.

Spoiler indications on EICAS

Logic:

  • In flight (flaps UP, 1, 2, 3, 4): display text "SPEEDBRK" and indicate spoiler deflection
  • When ground spoilers armed: display text "GND SPLR" and indicate spoiler deflection
