Crashes with this error, which I also get when trying to build from source:

  Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$__GCControllerManager

Good news though, is that MFI support now seems to be built into the OS, so I can use my controller directly.

Brand new SteelSeries Nimbus. Running macOS High Sierra. When I attempt to connect the controller I get

Failed to initialise HID driver.

Downloaded the 1.0.0 release binary from GitHub. It runs and recognizes the controller, but crashes when I try to connect. Traceback attached.

Hard to believe Nimbus doesn't provide something like this natively, given that their product is touted in the Apple store and has a Mac logo on the box. I tried another joystick mapping app, but that seemed way too fiddly for my couch gaming needs. Thanks for providing a simple bridge, and I hope I can get it working with Steam.
