We are using maven with eclipse integration m2e and connector m2e-cvs. Since we also use the maven-release-plugin we are forced to set scm urls like this in our poms:

scm:cvs:pserver:@cvsserver:/cvs/root/dir:module

This is, because our CVS-server authenticates our users and the maven-scm-plugin is able to replace the @-sign with the current logged in username to "user@"

Now when we try to materialize a dependency in eclipse by opening the node "Maven Dependencies", right click on the jar and choose"Maven"-> "Import Project(s)from SCM" the checkout fails, displaying the input box for username and password with the username field disabled and empty, so there's no chance to enter the username.

So what here should happen in my opinion, if there's no username but an @-sign in the connection string, ist should be replaced with the current user.

I will try to create a patch or fork the project.

Hi folks,
after upgrading to Eclipse 4.2 and m2e 1.1.0 I'm missing the scm cvs connector at the m2e marketplace.
Could you please tell me when a Juno-compatible build of cvs connector will be available?

Hi Folks!
Is there a build available which is working with m2e 1.3.1? The newest build I can found is on "http://repository.tesla.io:8081/nexus/content/sites/m2e.extras/m2eclipse-cvs/0.13.0/N/0.13.0.201212120356/" but when I try to install it in Juno SR2 with m2e 1.3.1 I receive the following error message: Missing requirement: Maven SCM Handler for CVS 0.13.0.201212120356 (org.sonatype.m2e.cvs 0.13.0.201212120356) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.m2e.core [1.0.0,1.3.0)' but it could not be found.
