Sometimes currently some items can be drop-shipped but as they default to usually selling from the warehouse they are being reserved, then reservation needs to be cancelled. At the same time we might extend a flag to indicate if an item can never be drop-shipped.

Benefit - no rework on lines and confusion for non-trained sales staff

Solution - Flag on sales order head to indicate that entire order is drop-shipped

There is no way to navigate to the order, especially in situations in which the order has been shipped and received this would be useful. There is no action button or hyperlink.

Currently after you add a posted item to return you cannot see any information about where it came from

-So show a factbox with - relates sales shipment and order number, original quantity shipped, related invoice

Currently it is difficult to see exactly which invoice and credit note a payment has been applied to. The page is based on the temporary table Detailed Vendor Ledg. Entry. Both should be extended.

value: currently the purchase order doesn't help you determine what the order limit in terms of quantity is per supplier both visually and with a warning. this would help eliminate errors - especially if also paired with a warning.

Previous attempted bug fix doesn't work. Need to figure out how to-reimplement field override at individual subform row level. Need to copy what has been done with purchase orders where it will automatically adjust any pending sales order dates to avoid a silly error stopping you from changes dates.

Navigating to the contact can be a hassle when viewing the customer. Add a page part directly to the page.

Appears to be issue that using DocMailing only takes single email address and not a recipient list as per the new email functionality.

Misleads as the CoA has already been completed for the lot tracked item. The purchase order seems to work correctly.

Ensure that the check is only applied when trying to release the sales order document.

In a situation in which a prior item charge was assigned to more than one line item, it only shows the first distribution rather than the total charge already assigned.

Create the ability to select multiple documents then trigger a send email that prompts the user to select a contact from the system and then creates an email with prompt.

Currently a user has to navigate to a the menu, select contacts and then get confused when they see the company and the individuals. Often they just want to quickly access the contact details of individuals including surfacing any roles assigned to them.

From the item we need to get:

-Straight to main item costing (and see whether it is no longer aligned with pricing in the system)
-See last few historical price movements
-See date item was last received into inventory

Inventory field is confusing when it shows stock that is not actually available but is in a transit location. Come up with a way of excluding that inventory from this field.

Add an additional field showing in-transit inventory that is not current available in any warehouse.

I believe this can be done by looking at the item ledger transaction type and excluding anything which is a transit shipment with remaining inventory.

Currently it uses the sales shipment internal number which is meaningless to customer. To navigate to the original sales shipment you can to go through the sales return shipment document. Suggestion is to refer to original sales order number, shipment date and customer's external reference number if they have one.

There are some items where the complexity of the actual product list is too complex with multiple skus from different vendors and slight variation in sizing. Should be able to mark an item as also a retail product group to avoid duplicate. If it's not marked like that you need to select a separate entry for retail product group. Retail product group record gets created dynamically in the background.

Should add it in after our number for easier references in certain situations

Current Bus Mgr role centre seems to assume that it is not doing anything to do with relationship mgmt - this has been changed

Currently uses the exchange rate default from the scenario. This worked if only USD exists, but breaks down in the shipment costs themselves are in an alternative currency like Euro.

The copy document function is generally back to front. Much of the time we locate a document and then want to copy it. Interestingly Items have that option - but not business documents. Duplicate standard functionality on purchase documents. Discovered issue in which brokerage shipment instructions are being sent to the wrong supplier.
