Rathalos Wyvern

Thought it would be a funny nod to hunters that if you name a Wyvern "Rathalos" with a name tag their skin changes to look like one

Mimic suggestion.

Mimics are hungry and greedy entity that disguise as a chest, they can be found in deep old, underground dungeon. At first seem like a regular chest, players who open it inside will soon realize, that there is normal loot inside. However, while the player is busy looting the chest, the mob slowly coming to life, with spider like legs and splinter like teeth coming out, it then slam its mouth brutally at the unsuspecting player, injuring their fighting hand, this give the player weakness for 1 minute, when killed, mimic drop its content as well as its drops, which is a special chest, some sticks, and in occasion, an egg pouch. As it turn out, the mimic is just a small silverfish like bug that use the chest as a home, similar to a hermit crab. The bug after finding a suitable chest will transform it into an intimidate living chest monster, capable of crawling around and hunting, since the bug require meat to survive as well.

To tame a mimic, one first must acquire an egg pouch from a "female" mimic, when thrown, the pouch produce from 3-6 larvae, when fully-grown they will seek nearby chest, enter them and become mimics to repeat the cycle, they however, doesn't enter double chests as it is too much for them. If you somehow make the bugs understand that you are their superior, then you have yourself a tamed mimics.

Stat: Mimics have 1x1x1 hitbox, despite the legs expand their model wider than just 1 block wide, they can't climb despite having spider legs, they doesn't take fall damage as the chest itself isn't a living being. They only have 15 hp, but beware, as their wooden skin grands them a high defense, as nearly as strong as iron armor, they also immune to most negative potion effect except Wither effect, they take fire damage, as well as a slowness effect while on fire, their bitting attack is very strong with those splinter teeth. They can only be hurt when being hit with axes or battleaxes, they receive minimum damage with any other tools. When tamed, they can either follow, sitting or wander around, their have the same inventory space with a single chest, they can be order with any item, to access their inventory, right click them with a stick, as an act of using the stick as a prevention for their mouth to snap down.

Special chest: It is an infected chest, with crackles from the being twisted by the bug, it however, is identical to a normal chest except for a special texture and it can't form a double chest.

GREEK GODS. I know I know this mod is about dragons but think about it you can be a human or a greek god or the son or daughter of (i'm not sexist) a god and you can design your own character like you can be Posiedons son or daughter or of Hades ect.

Calling down your rogue hippogryph

Two way:

  • a hippogryph flute, make hippogryph crash down like the dragon flute.

  • a punching dummy, this make use of the fact that hippogryph will go after anything you punch. A craftable dummy that can be hurt but don't lose health. Put it down near your flying gryph and punch it, the mob will swoop down to attack it, you jump on it, wrangle it, calm it. Pick up the dummy by shift-left click.

Mouse

mice spawns in plains biome, they're tiny, can be tame with wheat, and breed with seeds,

Ice and fire dragons addons

A follow ai for dragons and dragons saddle (planned)
Toys, for dragon to display their attack animations, like as of Fossil Archeology. Rubber ball will display the kick attack and the wing blast while a wooden dummy will display all of its bitting animations, including the shake attack.
A home position for dragons when set to wander
An "only walking wander" mode.
A way to halt the dragon's growing, to have the dragon at the perfect size.

Suggestion Gryphon

i want too suggest gryphons/griffins the king of all creatures.
They have the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle.
Griffins are known for guarding treasure and priceless possessions.
A hippogriff is supposedly the offspring of a griffin and a mare.
I would make them a few times bigger than a hippogriff. and give them the possibilty to do an attack when mounted. they also defend their owners.

Frost and Fire King Mini Boss.

A tribute to I/F devs Raptorfarian and Alexthe666, these are mini boss that will challenges players on their journey.
Packing 80 hp, while equipped with their own respective armors that stronger than iron but weaker than diamond, they have natural regen, they fight with respective dragon blood sword.
Special ability: The Fire King can summon columns of fire that set the player on fire, damaging and obstruct their screen, he is immune to fire damage,. On the other hand, the Frost King has Frost Walker ability as well as put out nearby flames and emit a frozen aura that slowed down his opponent, if set on fire, he will be extinguished extremely quick.
Their respective structures are generated in biomes that match the elemental kings. The Fire Temple generated in fiery colored biome called the mesa, it generated in high hills, and the Frozen Temple generated where the ice has sprouted from the Earth, in the Ice Spikes biome. These temple have only one main room with one main door, the main room contain a stairway that lead down to the King's throne room, where the King patiently awaiting their challenger.
Reward: Upon defeating them, the King spawn a treasure chest in where he died, the chest have the blast resistance of obsidian to prevent being destroyed, it act like normal chest but with a more glamorous texture, it can only be mined with obsidian mining tools and cannot form a double chest. The chest contain useful and valuable loots, but there is one unique drop that stand out, such as a Red Fire Dragon Egg and Blue Ice Dragon Egg, a Fire King armor set that grant Fire resistance when fully equipped, and Frost King armor that put out flames with auto fire extinguish once the wearer is on fire, the boots also has natural Frost Walker. The final loot, is a special hippogryph egg, for the Fire King, a special Fiery Hippogryph and a Snowy Hippogryph for the Frost King, these hippogryphs are unique and cannot be found in the wild, the player however has to hatch it and wrangle it like other hippogryphs.

Phoenix

There are two types of Phoenix, which spawned in their respective structure and biome.
Both Phoenix have the ability to regen quickly(natural regen 2), they can be tamed by feeding a special "cuisine" that are suitable for each type. When killed, instead of just die like a normal mob, they become an item instead, this item can be use to resurrect the mob later. Phoenix can earn exp by fighting mobs and level up, the way to level up is either let it die or kill it, then resurrect the item it transform into, a new phoenix will appear with higher level than before. Both phoenix can pick up small passive mobs by the order of its owner when tamed.
Tamed phoenix can be ordered to sitting, follow or guard. When guarding, the phoenix will resister a home position and fly around, killing any hostile mob, since they can regen quite fast, they can be excellent guardian for your house.
Both Phoenix can melee their opponent by kicking using their claws, similar to how chickens fight. Tamed ones can be equipped with special made metal claw from iron, gold or diamond, which make its attack even stronger.
Both Phoenix are neutral and will fight back if provoked, however, when at low health, will retreat instead.

These Phoenix are fire birds, live their live along with the flame, but unlike fire dragons, which breath out destructive flame, phoenix's flame have magical properties, and have more use than just offensive.
Fire phoenix's main attack is breath out a non-destructive flame that only go for the targeted mobs, if the mob died the flame will go out as well, these flame don't set things on fire like normal fire does.
Special properties: When these fire are in contact with water, their will evaporate water blocks, this is much more effective then vanilla sponge in clearing water.
When in contact with smeltable items while in their item forms(raw foods, log, ores...), the fire will then smelt the items, like a furnace does, but drop no experience.
However, fire resistance mobs such as blaze and pigman, are completely immune to Phoenix's fire attack.

These colorful and elegant bird lives in harmony with the land, its original myth came from Asia, whenever they live, nature become healthy, the land become fertile, it is said that it can share its fortune with those whom it chose.
Fenghuang's main attack is a small quake that only affect grounded mobs, give weakness for a short period.
Special property: The Fenghuang have a natural looting 3 effect to drops from mobs that it killed.
Sometimes wild FengHuang will perform a "Wings Growth", where it flaps it wings a few times, this is to spread Fenghuang's magical essence stored inside its body, and the wind from the wings delivers the essence to the land. This performance have a bone meal effect on saplings, crops, cocoa beans, sometimes it can even create exotic flowers on grass blocks. The mechanic to this is: there will be compatible blocks that are chosen completely random, but in a radius around the Fenghuang, the effect on the block will similar to of a right click with bone meal, note that this doesn't mean the Fenghuang will auto harvest crops for you, tamed Fenghuang will perform this upon the order of its owner, so you can spam it as many time as you want with tamed Fenghuang.

Dragon Aerial Manuvers

Right now dragons can only fly in different directions and that's it. If some maneuvers like gliding and dive-bombing and such would be a very nice addition.

Amphitheres automatically kills Phantoms

Lorewise: Both mobs are gliders, but amphitheres are much more skilled and more powerful than phantoms, they can easy ascend, descent and make rough curve with their powerful wing flaps, but their home is in the jungle, which in on ground, unlike Phantoms who can glide forever. I imagine amphithere would fly up extremely high to catch any Phantoms they can find, which create a prey and hunter relationship overtime, which make their instinct to tell them to kills Phantoms, and defend the player as a bonus.

Hippogryph Skulls

hey, it's ya local corvid here. hippogriff's need to drop more than just feathers & leather. so they should have a special drop: hippogriff skull. this skull should also be wearable upon one's head, to provide the same armor value as chain mail. les make dis happen bois.

Chinese dragons

Serpentine, wingless creatures with 4 legs.
Can float without wings, with normal walking speed, however, while near cloud zone, y=127(not sure if clouds always generate at y=127), the dragons flying speed increase drastically.
Eyes glows in the dark like normal dragons,
No size variant, as big as stage 4 dragons with longer body.
Take normal damages.
Wild Longs are neutral to both players and other mobs, including i/f dragons.
Majestic looking
Will seek deep enough body(about 7x7x7) of water and rest there, gain regen and positive buffs while resting.
Have the roar of the lion combine with the sound of thunder.
Will create thunderstorm occasionally.
Tamable.

Taming:
Doesn't spawn in the wild, to encounter one, you first must summon it by building a 1 wide structure resembling the dragon using rare materials, and add a special block, the dragon "eye" as the finishing touch(myth reference: https://www.theepochtimes.com/good-stories-from-china-painting-the-dragons-eyes_1730555.html), similar to how golems are build by placing the pumpkin last.
Scale color variant: Scarlet, Jade, Azure, Gold, White and Black. Color. To determine what color you want, simply "paint" the dragons scales with that respective color while building. The "scale blocks" are concrete powder with respective colors, Red, Green, Cyan, Yellow, White, Black.
Three mode: Sitting, Following, and Guarding. The mob will register a home location then fly around it, killing any hostile mobs in sight.
To tame the dragon, feed it a special plant: dragon fruit.
The player can equip the dragon with a special saddle, then mount it

Combat:
Melee damage: Clawing and Biting.
Ranged attack: Blow out a strong wind gust from its mouth, knocking and swing the target into the air, make them receive fall damage, similar to hurricane's wind.
Special attack: For a short period of time, the dragons body begin to glow, it then proceed to chase after you with high speed, if you touch anywhere in its body during this attack, you will take damage, you also can't damage the dragons body during this, you have to hit the head to deal damage.
When killed, drops its horns, this is the secret to Longs levitating ability.
The horns then can be crafted into a special helmet, which players can use to fly but slowly, similar to the Long, speed is increase drastically while around y=127

Non-mandatory(i won't get upset if you ignore suggestions below):
Nest building to make the dragon priority go into a specific water pool.
Decorative items to put on the dragon with give it additional models, these items main purpose is to glorify the dragon.
Longs armor, made from iron, gold and diamond.
Long also roar like normal dragons, and have the same weakness/strength effect on mobs.
Breedable Longs.
Second mob to go along with the Longs: Koi, spawn rarely in river, and be caught and will turn into a Long when specific conditions are met.

Ice and fire dragon heads (editted)

Ice and fire dragons should have their own wearable and placeable head, open and close mouth when applied to redstone, like the Ender Dragon head, these can't be loot from the dragon but rather found on Nordic/Viking ships generated on oceans water, the head is placed in front of the ship.
