As an Administrator user, when this plugin is enabled, I can't delete the Media file I uploaded.

When disabling this plugin, I can delete it again.

When i click save settings it goes back the the default settings and doesn't save my changes. WP 3.0.1

Plugin description: "...control which roles can publish, edit and delete posts of each custom type."

I don't see any dedicated settings for delete. Should there be some? Using your screenshot as an example ("Auctions" custom post type), should there be "Delete Own Auctions" and "Delete Others' Auctions" with each role type listed beneath?

I have custom post types that do not support the "author" feature.

When using map cap (mc_map_meta_cap) users cannot delete their own (or others') custom posts if those are in Draft status. Once he Publishes it, the same user can now Delete it. It only can't be Trashed while in a Draft status.

I think there is logic in mc_map_meta_cap preventing it from being Trashed in Draft status when the custom post type doesn't support the author feature.

To test, when I add the "author" feature into my register_post_type call, edit the Draft custom post and apply an Author (or Add New custom post), the user is able to Trash them when they are in Draft status.

I have 7 different post_types registered on my demo site. I also have created a number of custom roles using Justin Tadlock's plugin from:

The problem:

1. I create new role 'advisors'
2. I go into the map caps and uncheck everything for advisors
3. click save
4. when page reloads all the capabilities are rechecked again for advisors that I unchecked.

this is reproducible on every site I have tried the plugin on. Using wp 3.0.1multisites.

I have no problem providing access to a demo site so you can see the problem.

Do you have plans to style the output in the backend? The presentation is a little bit confusing if there are a lot of Custom Post Types.

is there a way how a user can publish a custom post, but not "regular" posts? at the moment, publishing custom posts only goes along with publish_post... I would like custom posts to be used and published by registered users and publish news-articles (regular) articles) only by myself or admin-staff. This would be usefull for many sites I'm administrating and as well for Wordpress as a CMS with a team running it.
