Using the default, md5, and sha1 versioning seems to be broken when also
using a css compiler of some sort.  Tracking it down, the templatetag
creates its version from the compiled css files (e.g. ('style.css'))
whereas manage.py synccompress uses the pre-compiled files (e.g.
('style.hss')).

I may be wrong but I think it is recompiling my files on each request even
though they haven't been changed. I am using CleverCSS and here is my config. 

COMPRESS_CSS = {
    'all': {
        'source_filenames': ('css/style.css', 'css/pstyle.pcss'),
        'output_filename': 'css/all_compressed.css'
    }
}

COMPILER_FORMATS = {
    '.pcss': {
        'binary_path':'python /path/clevercss.py',
        'arguments': 'SOURCE_FILENAME.pcss' 
    }
}

Doesn't work unless compress is installed, patch attached.
