silver-session doesn't work properly with the current setup

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install it
2. Try to use silver-session
3. Watch the fail

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Well, this probably comes from lack of communication. I expected it to
start the .py files, but it actually searches for bash scripts in $PATH.
What method do you think is best, Tom

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Apps to be displayed, no apps are displayed

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
Looks like this broke it:
56 + for category in categories:
    57  +           if category == 'System':
    58  +               dontShow = 'false'
    59  +           elif category == 'Settings':
    60  +               dontShow = 'false'

Silver-desktop still uses a hardcoded path (rather than a relative path)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install silver correctly into /usr/local
2. Run silver-desktop
3. Observe error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It to run, it doesn't run

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
Can't you use the same method you do for the other apps to detect the path?

Images do not have source code in the SVN

To be GPL-compliant, "the preferred form of the work
for making modifications to it" should be made available (in this case,
SVGs) if they are requested. It's easiest just to have them available
anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I set it as low priority because it doesn't really matter unless someone
asks for the source code.

Task bar plugin doesn't work.

The taskbar plugin for silver panel doesn't work. It prints all the open
windows, but does not add them to the toolbar.
