It just shows a nonexistent folder, and I can't select the folder I want to go to.
Everytime i click play it takes me to the Steam store instead of launching the game, and wont load character mods, hud etc.

Exactly what the name says, this happens when i launch HedgeModManager. And didn't happen before.
It will be good to have in Mods / Codes a 100% Save Game works !
Because the game just deleted my save , but my records stay in Multiplayer.
It happens not just for me but for friends too , that's why i ask this feature.
Thanks in advance !
I've had this issue in both GMI and HedgeModManager for the past few days;
Everytime I load up some mods, no matter what they are, character mods don't work.
Stages do--I'm running the Unleashed Project with no issues, thankfully, but whenever I want to swap out Sonic for someone else (or even just his Black Knight appearance, for example) nothing changes; I'm left with the usual Gens model and Roger Craig Smith voice, no matter what.
I downloaded the latest version of the hedgemod manager from here but there's no .exe file included
fresh installed a few times now, deleted my mods folder and re-added everything ran as admin, even reinstalled Generations, nothing will trigger HedgeModManager to load the game with the applied mods. cpkredir is installed.
At least, there are the error information

As of February 22nd, Github has removed TLSv1 support, which breaks many applications and has a pretty big effect on console homebrew applications. It also seems to cause HedgeModManager to fail to update properly.
When I press Save & Play or just Play, it opens the command prompt like it normally does and says:
[ForcesModLoader] [ERROR] ModsDB.ini could not be read!
I'm not really sure what to do about this. I've tried deleting the ModsDB.ini file and making a new one after loading the loader again, but it always comes to the same error.
If you have an older installation of the mod manager, it won't update the URL handler to include the new required parameter unless you specifically reinstall the mod manager by downloading it into a different folder. There really should be a check for if the handler is using the old format and an offer to update it.

I have no idea what's wrong. I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest version (with the Casino Nights DLC), but I get this error. I'm also not sure where exactly I'm supposed to "check for an updated version", as when I open HedgeModManager, I don't see an option for it.
The game crashes upon launch, so It does not appear to be anything in game. This only happens when the codeloader is installed, otherwise HedgeModManager boots the game just fine. I don't know what causes this.
When I try to launch the game with the loader, I get an error message saying this:
"An error occured! See "HedgehogModManager.log" for more info and report the file if possible.
I uninstalled Sonic Forces and later reinstalled it (and never changed anything with the mod or HedgeMod folder besides starting it sometimes without the game) so when I started it again with the game, it says an error has occured but I don't see any errors in the log.

The majority of my progress and avatars are now gone. I started HedgeModManager and it gave me an error message. I pressed Save and Play and booted up the game to find that my avatars were gone. I'm very upset about this. I haven't played Forces since 3 days ago and everything was fine then. I (admittedly without really thinking about it) pressed "restore from backup" after all of this and still no luck. I think I messed it up more by doing that, but this still shouldn't have happened in the first place.
EDIT: and I tried uninstalling the mods using the Settings tab of HMM, but still no luck. Welp, that's 35 hours of unlocks and achievements I'm never getting back.
EDIT 2: Great. I pressed Install again to use the mods with the ruined save file and now Sonic Forces will only launch if mods are uninstalled. I backed up my mods and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. If you're reading this, don't be like me. Back up your save file OFTEN!
No matter how hard I try, for some reason, the vanilla game would load. They would be "checked" but when I load up the game the only mod that works no matter what I do is DiscordGenerations. Is there a way I can fix this?
In the updated Steam version of Sonic Forces, many players experiencing the game crash at nearby of the first tube in Stage 10 (Green Hill). Some players are passing the stage by modified save files. I don't want to modify the save file by the hacked ones because it's nearly dangerous. I want to make the players progress the game without hacking the save data to play the entire stage, and progress it. The code is the one of gameplay improvement codes like the ERZ Super Sonic Ability fix code seen in Mania Mod Loader (by @thesupersonic16 ). This is my request to help and support the Sonic Forces players getting stuck by latest update's unfixed crash glitch. Thank you.
Hello
i use the HedgeModManager But when I press it to save & play it starts a cmd which I think is normal but then I get an error of a thing called d3d11createdeviceandswapchain in the d3d10_1 dll and I do not know how to fix it.
I can not find a way to fix this error and that is why I report it here.
Title says all. HedgeModManager seems to be able to work with Forces (As so claimed) however cannot locate it, no matter how close or how far away it is from the exe.
Alright so I tried to play Forces with some mods again but the game just won't start for me...
I can still play it perfectly fine without any mods installed but whenever I have mods installed the game just won't start even after reinstalling the whole game and restarting my whole computer.
what's odd is that I could still play forces with mods without any issues a day before....
maybe I deleted an important file somewhere but I could really need some help now
You may think I'm a noob, but i need an expert's assistance. I can't seem to click the checkbox that says "custom mods directory". I tried different options, but it just won't work. I had a folder that i want to use that has mods and everything, but i can't use it, because the darn checkbox won't work. Please help me out.
Update: someone had the same issue, and the creator said it wasn't implemented yet for Sonic Forces. Could someone ask him when it will happen?
supersonic16,
I'm back with you again to ask for your help. UltimateDarkman refuses to answer the problems related to STH06 Sonic v.2.0
I'm hoping you could please help by downloading the mod yourself and see if you can figure out why 06 Style Sonic doesn't work yet the 06 Style Sonic using Generations Sonic Model works.
I've tried for weeks now to figure out what the heck is wrong with it and I'm at my wit's end.
So please check it out or try getting in contact with UltimateDarkman or something because I'm just frustrated to hell that I can't figure out what's wrong with it.

I'm no good and reading code so that's why I'm asking again for your help. Please don't turn me down again and just give me an answer as to why it keeps giving me a black screen right after the HAVOK logo before the title screen ;~;
Can you please make it a feature where HedgeModManager can run Unleashed Project and also it with mods please?
When I try playing sonic generations with mods the mod loader enabled, it gives me the error code 0cx0000142. How do I fix this?
Hi .
I have an error for the mod of sonic forces it say about the garry.sgaas.net .
what should i do for fix it ?
Thanks for anwser faster as u can have a nice day
Why doesn't it do this at all? It should create it when it detects that it's not there.
Can there be an option for the Command prompt to NOT need to stay open?
Following on from #38
The game runs the title cards and then crashes before the main title screen can load.
I have run the recommended .bat files to remove HMM, re-installed HMM and no change.
No mods have yet been put into the folder, the game is refusing to load with or without mods in place.
Whenever I try running the Unleashed Project, it doesn't work and Sonic Generations runs as normal. But when I go into say Green Hill, Windmill Isle plays, or Savannah Citadel in Chemical plant. The Unleashed music is all there but the levels themselves are not. How do I resolve this issue?
Hi. I am having trouble with HedgeModManager after the latest update. I am able to launch the game for a second, but as soon as the game starts up, it closes with no error message whatsoever. Not sure if it's an issue related on my end or if it's something wrong with the mod manager itself.
By the way, it does this even when no mods are selected from the manager.
I have been using this for Sonic forces and when i close the game and open it, the save file is always gone. Please help me
Everytime i add a mod of sonic forces the game just crashes and says sonic forces is not responding.
i even installed the code loader or whatever that thing is
Dear SuperSonic16,
I type this letter requesting help please. I've been trying very hard to figure out what's wrong with UltimateDarkman's STH06 Sonic Mod in this link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3rXDtzEUy4
I think there's something going on with the files because for some reason I can only run the mod if I use the SG Version (Generations Model with the 06 animations). I've been trying to run the regular one so I can play the game with the 06 Sonic model and it's animations, but whenever I do I get a black screen after the HAVOK Logo before the Title Screen comes up and I'm forced to restart my PC.
Can you please help me?
Hi, my copy of Sonic Forces lags only when HedgeModManager is installed, even when no mods/codes are activated. It's almost entirely on the world map, with a bit when I first enter a level and when the game boots up. Sometimes opening the start menu fixes it for a bit.
I have the game on Steam, and I am running the minimum specs graphics card, but didn't have any lag at all beforehand.
I've attached my log file if that helps.
HedgeModManager.log
This can be done if someone has Special K installed for Forces, and wants to use the mod loader. (by detecting dxgi.dll in the exec folder)
ATM, both cause conflicts causing the game to crash at launch. However, uninstalling the mod loader makes Special K work fine.
In Special K, there's an option to load up the official ReShade at launch, which is what we can override.
The dll has to be put at an location like this:
C:\Users\{USER_NAME}\Documents\My Mods\SpecialK\PlugIns\ThirdParty\ReShade\ReShade64.dll
But the user has to be warned that if they have a ReShade installation there, it has to be overwritten.
When I tried to use it with a pirated version of Forces, Steam pops up with Forces' store page. I mostly pirated Forces to try it out, seeing how it would run on my computer and how the game is in general. Would be nice if you could change the directory HMM launches the executable from.
Then again, a plausible workaround would be to just move the "Sonic Forces" folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common. Haven't tried that just yet, but I will update this when I can.
Update: Nope, that doesn't seem to work. Hrm...
