Rules for Addons

  1. All addons should be requested as an issue on this and marked as an enhancement.
  2. Dev who is requesting that an addon be looked at for integration should consider the entire picture for the Mod.
  3. Dev who requested addon to be added, needs to contact the addon owner for permission for it to be added and copy the permission into the issue opened for the addon integration.
  4. Voting will occur once the permission has been obtained to determine if this meets the goal of the overall mod.
  5. Development should not begin until after permission is obtain. This is in the event that permission cannot be obtained for the addon.
  6. If the addon is not voted favorably, there should be no hard feelings. Not every addon will make it into the Mod and some that should be will never be discussed.

Kidnapping

So the idea would be to have a new model for cable ties or such that the special forces use to tie down people they are trying to detain. Players are able to use these to kidnap other players. Would be cool to have a black bag added aswell to cover over the other players head so they are unable to see whats going on. Custom animations and models would need to be created but if done correctly would be a great feature.

As a balancing issue 1 play is able to tie down the other player but other 2 /3 would be required to be able to move the other player.

Toilet Paper Bandages

If you have [x] amount of rolls of toilet paper (4 per say) you can craft a Bandage.

Custom Inventory

I would like to get everyone chiming in on this one, since this will change the way the game is played (pay to win).

Since I implemented the buildings, implementing other items from Reality will be easier (messaging/custom inventory). Do we even want to go down this road?

Humanity level suggestions

Hi i would like to suggest these values for Heroes and Bandits.
People wants a goal in the game and a high humanity level cap would be really good for something like that, i tought about to use only 3 levels but then people will get tired to fast.

  • Different bandit skins to indicate different danger levels:

    Humanity > -2500 : Bandit_Skin1

    Humanity > -5000 : Bandit_Skin2

    Humanity > -10000 : Bandit_Skin3

    Humanity > -20000 : Bandit_Skin4

    Humanity > -30000 : Bandit_Skin5

  • Different hero skins to indicate friend levels:

    Humanity > 2500 : Hero_Skin1

    Humanity > 5000 : Hero_Skin2

This mod brings IEDs and Suicide bombers into the game, as well as Thor 3 IED jammers, radio triggermen with random reactions etc. etc.
Most of the factors are randomized in order to give it a more realistic, varied and entertaining experience in accordance to the expectations of a title like ArmA 2.

I think we should cut all UI off the screen. Have it show messages like Standalone plans to have it. Except instead of being in chat, show in a low titletext. Personally the UI ruins the immersion for most, including myself.

Fuel limit suggestion

It would be cool if we could have a fuel-limit in every fueltank and station around the map.

Fueltanks = 1-5 jerrytanks with fuel only, randomized in every tank around the map after every server-restart.

Fuelstations 1-10 jerrytanks with fuel only, randomized in every fuelstation around the map after every server-restart.

This will make the game more intense because you need to compete about the fuel (Mad Max style).

What do you guys think about this?

So I think I am gonna go ahead and start
a) Creating spawn locations for crashed helis (Even if we dont use the fly and crash)
b)Seeing if this script does work with our map (it should)
