Screen reader does not output message more than once

With the current implementation, NVDA (with Firefox) does not read the example announcement more than one time. This is due to to the fact that the screen reader does not detect any changes to the DOM or ARIA live regions.

One possible solution would be to add the aria-atomic=true attribute to the component. This would notify assistive technologies that the live region has been updated and it should read the announcement in full.

Upgrade React, Babel, Webpack dependencies

Most of the dependencies of this project are at least one major version behind their current version. Upgrading these dependencies (especially react and react-dom) to their latest major version will help adoption rate and prevent usage issues.
