We are running Hangfire workers in Docker and those Docker images are running on linux. Since PowerShell.exe does not exist current version is unsuitable for our needs although it would otherwise provide a great extendibility for Hangfire.
As I understood this extension is PowerShell Executor works out-of-the-box with Windows, but lacks cross-platform portability.
Compatibility for PowerShell Core would provide way larger universe for this plugin to run.
MVP:
Change PowerShell.exe --> pwsh to make it compatible with other versions of PowerShell as well as other OS:ses.

Most dynamic solution:
Is to have a default configuration which could be overridden during the run time.
Process.StartInfo.FileName <-- overriding this setting with full path
Arguments <-- If one needs to provide dafault parameters like "-version 1" for backwards compatibility
WorkingDirectory <-- Defining running context
--> Have a separate configuration for your specific environment and enable running different PowerShell versions in multiple environments and even any commandline tools not just limited to PowerShell.
