This is my attempt to create a grid module for KohanaPHP (2.3.4)

Unfortunately I havn't got a demonstration site up, so I try to explain how it works here:

Download all files and save them in a folder inside "modules", call that folder grid or YAG or whatever.

Then alter your config.php so that the module is known by Kohana

$config['modules'] = array
(
    MODPATH. 'grid',  // Grid module
    // ...
    // ...
);

In your controller, you can now set up a grid like this

        $grid = Grid::factory();

// Now add some fields

        $grid->CheckboxField('contact_id')->
                            set('title', 'ID')->
                            set('checked', array(1,2,3))->
                            set('sortable', true)->
                            set('foot', form::checkbox('check_all', 'yes', false));
        
        $grid->TextField('contact_number')->
                            set('title', 'Contact Number')->
                            set('sortable', true);
        
        $grid->DateField('contact_date_inserted')->
                            set('title', 'Date inserted');
                                                
// You need some data...

        $data = $query->select($grid->get_fields(true))->
                       from('contact')->get();

// Apply data to grid module

        $grid->set('data', $res);

        $html_table = $grid->render();

        echo $html_table;
