ddctoolbox's Issues

Parametric EQ txt imports but doesn't show graph

I'm importing a parametric eq txt from autoeq with the following values:
Filter 1 ON PK Fc 22 Hz Gain -11.1 dB Q 0.78
Filter 2 ON PK Fc 55 Hz Gain -2.7 dB Q 1.37
Filter 3 ON PK Fc 2068 Hz Gain -2.8 dB Q 2.76
Filter 4 ON PK Fc 10066 Hz Gain -9.0 dB Q 4.04
Filter 5 ON PK Fc 20764 Hz Gain -2.4 dB Q 1.94
Filter 6 ON PK Fc 603 Hz Gain 2.9 dB Q 1.19
Filter 7 ON PK Fc 4848 Hz Gain -4.1 dB Q 2.48
Filter 8 ON PK Fc 7709 Hz Gain 2.5 dB Q 3.23
Filter 9 ON PK Fc 15498 Hz Gain -4.2 dB Q 4.40
Filter 10 ON PK Fc 22050 Hz Gain -2.4 dB Q 1.76

However, the graph doesn't appear, although other parametric txts seem to work. I've tried making a copy of this txt, although the program instantly crashes if I try and import it.

Import from VDC function broken, doesnt recognize filters other than peaking and some times has blank BW and gain values

When I make a new eq profile, export it as .VDC for Viper and try to reimport it on DDCToolbox to further modify the program fails to recognize everything, especially filters that are not of the peak type. (I had a picture of the missing BW and gain values but i lost it and i cant replicate the problem. the low shelf/high shelf filters are still missing though.)

I also tried making a EQ profile with just a low shelf and it does seem to output something:

But once imported into DDCToolbox it simply doesnt show anything.

So if i were to guess the problem isnt with the export but with the import function?

Request: Add a preamp option

Hi, after using autoeq to export a parametric txt into ddc toolbox, this results in many frequencies with large negative gains (issue 170 in autoeq if you want more context). Thus, would it be possible to add a preamp feature?

Is preamp applied when downloading from AutoEQ?

I'm asking because after importing a parametric EQ from AutoEQ (using Project > Download from AutoEQ...) I see that all the Peaking filters in the project window correspond to the ones listed in my headphones' page in AutoEQ; however I don't see a Unity Gain filter, which should be necessary in order to apply the recommended preamp.

Could not find the program 'ddc-toolbox'

I have tried installing DDCToolbox via PPA as well as from source. Both installs result in a "Could not find the program 'ddc-toolbox'" message when I try to open the program.

Ubuntu 20.04, running Qt 5.12. Plasma DE

Both install processes seem to run fine, the program seems to show up in both krunner and the app menu as a program but never initiates and a popup with the title of this issue showing.

One other interesting note was that when building from source I was never able to get ./DDCToolbox to execute the program as your README suggests. After running the command from inside the DDCToolbox directory my terminal readout simply says: "bash: ./DDCToolbox: No such file or directory". When I list files in the directory it shows this as a list of contents:
DDCToolbox.pro
deployment
install.nsi
LICENSE
Makefile
misc
README.md
res
snap
src
tests

Where am I going wrong?
