great writeup and inspiring work, especially the contour refinement approach - i'm trying to adapt it for pokemon TCG detection. but the now curent packages seem to not be compatible ( shapely 1.8 <_>2.0 , opencv 4.3 and mathplotlib ?)
Maybe you have the pinned versions in your workspace or are you interested in an updated requirements.txt if i get it working?

Can this work to detect cards in real-time/live video?

I am very new to phthon (JS/C# for my day job) but I was very interested in card recognition and nobody does computer vision in anything other than python!

Two questions:

1. Could you provide the MTG/Card_Images/LEA/? I want to try to fully reproduce your system including the phash, over the weekend I might just try to do this myself, however I don't know how I should prepare the images and if you've still got the files laying around it would be really handy!
2. Is there some kinda of package file that python projects can run? I have manually re-created the environment required to get this project running but I imagine other newbies might find it handy if they could restore your virtual environment with ease.
