Is it possible to configure key-bindings of default stored searches? about tmux-copycat HOT 4 CLOSED

Well.. it's kinda possible.
Take a look at the source here. You can see it maps keys to somewhat complicated regexes.

Now just combine defining stored searches with those regexes and there you have it.

I use C-f as my prefix, so to send C-f into the terminal I have to press it twice but unfortunately that invokes tmux-copycat with the file-search. That effectively disables this shortcut for me, which e.g. gets used in Vim to page down.

It seems the best way for me is to unbind the default key-binding and define my own stored search for exactly this use case.

Hi, I realized it makes sense to have options for the default key bindings.
It should be a lot easier than messing with complex regexes in tmux.conf.
Here are the docs how to remap keys. Let me know if you need more help with this.

Btw. I think this issue is now handled, so I'm going to close it.

I have remapped my Capslock key to Ctrl and find it more comforable to just bring my left pinky over while still hovering over the "f" with my index finger.
