Not working with self signed certificates.

Home Assistant for Elgato Stream Deck

Use the Elgato Stream Deck as Home Assistant controller. Call any available service and toggle lights or resume your music.

Should work cross-platform. Tested with macOS Mojave and HassOS on RPi0W.

How to use

This Integration uses the Home Assistant REST API and Service Calls.

General installation & setup

Download the latest release here and execute the file. The Stream Deck software should ask you to continue the installation.

Creating a new action

Drag and drop the Home Assistant action from the Action list to the Canvas area. Select it and configure it.

You can get a long-live access token by creating on your profile in Home Assistant. (Just add "/profile" to your url if you don't find it)

For configuring the other required options, check here. Service data should be served in json like here.

To test out your service calls, check the Service development tool on your Home Assistant instance.

Logging

Hi there,

Is there a place I can check the logs for the request being sent ?
I would like to troubleshoot why my calls aren't working

Setup

Just installed this and trying to get it working but I think my issue is with the formatting when adding the button in the stream deck - any chance of a screenshot or brief quick start guide?

Feature Request: Show sensor stats/switch/etc. status on buttons

Being able to display if a switch is on/off or temps of a room would be super nice to have! Hope you can somehow implement this :)

Rewrite Status?

README says:

This plugin is currently undergoing a complete rewrite. It's not recommended for use, as it's very old and still depends on version 1 of the Stream Deck SDK.

Just was wondering if you are still actively working on this or not?

Does not work after putting computer to sleep

If I put my computer to sleep, upon wakeup, none of my Home Assistant buttons work. I'd be happy to send you any logs, but not sure where to look.

Does not work with non-signed certificates and HTTPS

If I use the local hostname (SSL enabled, ex. https://myesxiserver:8123) without a properly signed certificate the plugin will refuse to do anything, however if I use the address that's reachable from outside (ex. https://ha.mydomainname.net) with a properly signed Let's Encrypt certificate it'll work without any issues.

Please make it so it'll also accept calls to domains with unsigned certs.
