My name is Ellaine. (Yes, it's Elaine with 2 L's 😄). I am a Full stack Software Engineer based from Silicon Valley with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design degree from the University of Santo Tomas (Philippines) and more than 8 years of hospitality experience. I love building and seeing projects come to life. Front-end Development is my fave! Currently just completed a fully remote apprenticeship program with Microsoft Leap and now transitioned as a full-time Software Engineer at Microsoft.

A memory game application that contains 3 difficulty levels and 3 themes for the user to choose from.

• Displays the user’s game history including the difficulty and theme chosen.
  
• Utilized Rick and Morty API, IconFinder API and Font Awesome icons for card icons on the themed boards.
  
• Developed with SQLite3 database, Ruby on Rails backend with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap for frontend.
  
• Applied animations on App logo and gameplay with Animate.style.

A game application that enables the user to adopt from a selection of Tamagotchis (virtual pets) and interact with them by feeding, cleaning, and tucking them into bed. Built in collaboration with 3 other software developers from Flatiron School.

• Built with mini games for users to enjoy and potentially earn or stake coins. The coins can then be used to purchase additional pets.

A CLI app that displays events or games that can be found through city name, date, team/performer name, or stadium name. The beta version of this app was built by myself and Stephen Ibañez during our phase 1 project week at Flatiron School.
