Sound/Audio Location; Changeable?

Hi,
so I was looking through the files and was wondering where the sounds are stored.
I was playing the Metavoker and I find the push ability sound a bit to dull. Now I wanted to replace it with my own Sounds. Is this possible? Where are the files for that located?
Its an awesome mod nonetheless, dont get me wrong!

Suggestions - compatibility with DualWield, plus skill bugs

Hi TorannD,
First of all, I LOVE Valheim Legends. It's so good. It adds so much to combat, and the classes are all so unique. Fantastic job!

If you're open to a couple ideas...

Would you be willing to support compatibility with the DualWield mod please?

  • Duelist: Riposte and Weapon Master: could these skills still be allowed to work when holding two of the same weapon, as we do with DualWield? Maybe by specifically looking for a shield in the offhand, vs. another weapon?
  • Rogue: Dagger Master: Same - could this work with two daggers please?

Bug, I think?
I can't seem to get Enchanter: Charm to do anything. I've successfully hit Greylings, Greydwarfs, Draugrs, etc. They get a puff and having a lasting cloud around them, but they just keep attacking me. I always spawn multiples and hit just one of them, hoping they'll turn on each other, but they don't. Am I doing something wrong?

(Suggestion) Change Class Altar

Would it be possbile to add a config to change the altar that gives access to the class change, allowing to postpone access to classes till a certain boss?

Monk Class - Fist Weapons

Monk class abilities aren't able to be used with the Flesh Rippers or any designated "fist" weapon from any mods. Is there a way to alter the coding of the abilities to allow it to be used when a weapon that scales off the Fist skill is used instead of requiring no weapon of any kind to be equipped?

I've seen this question posed multiple times on the Nexus Mod page, but haven't seen any reply yet, so I'm posting it here, hopefully for more visibility.

Class lost on death in multiplayer, Flying Kick not working

When playing multiplayer, some of the players - not the host, and not all - lose their class "buff" on death, and they have to go back to the altar to "repick" their class to be able to use abilities again.

Additionally, Monk's Flying Kick ability just has them spin in place and deals no damage, but still gains Unarmed stacks

Several bugs found during testing

The duelist riposte skill will not work with dual weapons equipped via Smoothbrain's DualWield mod. I'm assuming the offhand weapon is being identified as a shield.

The raven compendium descriptions for several classes do not match the skill descriptions on the Nexus page. E.g., ranger dodge roll + shoot ability. The raven says you move faster for 2s after a dodge roll where Nexus says you shoot faster. It appears the latter is correct.

Valkyrie leap attack is bugged if you are not moving or moving very slow. You will never slam the ground.

Doesn't works on 0.216.9 modded w/ Krumpac's modpack

Hello,

I'm having an issue using this mod coupled with a ~80 mods modpacks (smoothbrain's, azumatt's, krumpac's, wackymole's, and odinplus's modpacks are inside and well working without any errors)

And here, the latest release (and even the previous one) of your mod does just nothing when coming to an altar with the right item.
I tryed to change it by : item_newitem ; newitem ; newItem ; ... few strings way but still nothing happens with even original "recipes" to get a class on an eikthyr's altar, or even with modifed prefabs and/or created prefabs cloned with WackysDB.

Did anyone else had this kind of issue ? :)
I can even share the logs if needed but there is no errors related to your mod (server side & client side logs checked)

Patch update compatability

Latest Valheim patch, Patch 0.216.9 broke functionality for this mod. Log gives the following on loading of the game.

No compendium

Absolutely love this mod and all the abilities and passives. Fantastic job thinking up interesting and distinct classes. I'm building a modded server for friends though, and I don't want to have to refer them to the Nexus page to learn what the mod does. Sadly, the compendium will not show in game for me. I've even tested with disabling all other mods, and it still doesn't show. Please help?

Ashlands Update

The mod ValheimLegends for Valheim throws a lot of errors with the new Ashlands update. Are you aware? Are there plans to fix it? I am waiting with my whole server pop for this mod to update. We really don‘t want to lose it. I also consider donating if that helps. Thank you!

Mod is broken as of 11/7/23

Hi,

The patch on November 7th broke your mod. Theres multiple errors, but theres one in particular thats causing major issues. They updated the game to Unity 2022, and now all of your forward dashes do not work. Valkyries jump is for some reason an exception. But Rogue, metavoker, and berserker all can't get any forward movement. Except randomly it will sometimes succeed, and i've been unable to recreate it.

Additionally, for some reason Duelists pistol shot breaks completely after refunding cooldown with riposte. That was an issue prior to the latest patch. I figured I'd report it now though. The icon goes red, and it permanently is on CD. Swapping classes keeps the button broken.

Suggestion: give option to use class altar twice or a set number of times.

make an option so changing classes is a bit more of a permanent decision.

Setting through config file when option to use altar is set to false is tedious. the average gamer who is brave enough to use mods will find settings like this unnecessarily annoying. especially if they are not particularly adept at computers.
